Moodle is an online learning environment that allows you to locate learning materials, activities and information related to your studies from any location with internet access.

General information

  • Lecturers are advised to upload all videos on Panopto to free up Moodle storage space. This will better reflect the usage of Panopto and the “Cost Through Rate” in statistics reports. For video upload on Panopto,
    please refer to the link at here
  • The maximum file upload size in Moodle is limited to 100MB.
  • You are also advised to use the OneDrive platform to receive student submissions which are over 100MB.

  • Starting from 1 September 2021, only course materials from current and last academic year (AY) will be retained (e.g. In AY 2021/22, Moodle shows course material of 2020/21 and 2021/22). Other course materials in the previous three years (2017/18 – 2019/20) will be stored in Moodle Archive. Please note that course materials over 5 years (i.e. 2016/17 or before) will be deleted permanently.
