The HKSYU Authentication Service provides centralized identity authentication and authorization for University and external systems and services. It enables system administrators to efficiently manage access to web-based and mobile applications using HKSYU user credentials, including Staff IDs, Student IDs, and Alumni IDs.
The service supports a range of industry-standard authentication protocols, including:
- Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 2.0
- Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
- Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS)
All users and system administrators utilizing the HKSYU Authentication Service must comply with the University’s policies, guidelines, and regulations.
For security and compliance purposes, HKSYU reserves the right to monitor, manage, and restrict access to the Authentication Service as necessary to protect University information assets and services.
