To enhance the protection of your OpenVPN/OpenVPNcn account and ensure that ONLY authorized users can access to HKSYU’s intranet and internal resources to improve cybersecurity. OpenVPN/OpenVPNcn system update with the activation of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) feature is scheduled in the following period:

Please note that you are required to upgrade your OpenVPN client software with the additional settings for MFA feature to enhance the security.

Below are the simple steps to sign in using this service:
- Download the “Microsoft Authenticator app” or other MFA methods for verification in addition to your usual password.
- When you open the OpenVPN, after entering your SYU email and password, you will be prompted to complete the MFA step.
